New Year, New President, New Friends.

I apologize for taking a small Holiday hiatus from the site! Time flies when you're having fun and preparing for the new President to come into power. Last month's front page blubs have been archived. I hope to in the next few weeks get everything completed and more articles uploaded.

This weekend I had the delightful fortune to randomly bump into a fellow Republican I previously met at Mike Huckabee's book signing in my hometown! This "kindred spirit" had traveled two hours just to see him and get her picture with him. While standing in line waiting for him to come in we both "fan-girled" about Huckabee and the Republican party. We parted ways as the line moved forward and never knew that a small conversation would bring us together again one day.

Who knew that we would be in the same city neither of us are associated with, on the same weekend, on the same day, in the same restaurant, sitting across the room from each other? We chatted for a few moments (and I still do not know her name!) and parted ways leaving me with the satisfaction that fellow Republicans can be an immense boost to your spirits. So dear kindred spirit, thank you for making my day much brighter!

One thing I must comment on pertaining to the cold temperatures and Obama's inaguration falling during the same time:

+ Hell has finally frozen over
+ Al Gore is going to be there freezing his butt off and wishing that Global warming would shine some warmth on him.
